This album is a beautifully crafted collection of melodic songs which I wasnt really expecting to like. JJ has a wonderfully rich voice that hooks you into the tune and especially the chorus. Lots of strings and some clever hooks make this a hybrid betweeen folk and dare I say ′middle of the road′ but not in the ′corny′ sence of the Never thought I′d enjoy this type of sound but I found I was entranced by the way the songs unravel and pull you in so that you dont push the pause or next track button and I have played this half a dozen times!
