1997年，英国威尔士另类摇滚乐队Lostprophets成立。这支乐队发行专辑的速度也真够慢。距离最近的2006年的那张专辑《Liberation Transmission》发行，也已过去4年。如今，他们终于携第四张录音室专辑《The Betrayed》回归！其实乐队当初很想在《Liberation Transmission》发行后尽快发行新专辑，但由于唱片公司和制作人等原因延误了。最终，直到09年7月，新专辑也没有完工。

他们最先的两张专辑——2000年的《The Fake Sound Of Progress》和2004年的《Start Something》，给他们带来了全国范围的赞誉。在第三张专辑《Liberation Transmission》发行之前，这支乐队已经赢得了两座“Kerrang! awards”。精彩仍将继续，他们的最新专辑《The Betrayed》显得更为黑暗(darker)、更为勇猛(grittier long player)。正如他们以往的专辑，歌曲中乐器演奏的经常穿插大大增强了听者的聆听体验。就拿主打单曲“It's Not The End Of The World But I Can See It From Here”和“Where We ”来说，它们都不乏亮点。
