Javier Colon（哈维尔·科隆），是一位美国歌手、唱作人，有着多米尼加和波多黎各的血统。他出生于美国康乃狄克州的布里奇波特。

在他单飞之前，他曾经是EmcQ组合和德克里特拉斯乐队的一名成员，也曾经和许多音乐人一起工作过。他曾经与Capitol唱片签约，但是现在他是一名独立音乐人，拥有他自己的厂牌：哈维尔·科隆音乐。
2011年，他获得了美国NBC电视台电视节目秀《美国之声》的冠军，并获得了100000美元奖金，同时也获得了与环球唱片公司的唱片合约。

Left of Center (2006)
在他第一张个人专辑出版3年之后，  left of center哈维尔出版了他的第二张专辑《Left of Center》。专辑名称意在证明哈维尔与其余现在同时代的R&B歌手不同。哈维尔延续了他的R&B和新灵魂乐风格，但是再一次与其他不同的音乐流派所混合。专辑里的三支单曲出版了：《Indecent Proposal》，《Dance for Me》，《The Answer is Yes》。但是这三支单曲都没有取得重要的成就，整张专辑只在Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop专辑榜单上到达过第37位。像哈维尔这张专辑，《Left of Center》只展示了他很少的艺术家特色，即只是和R&B艺术家安东尼·汉密尔顿同出现在歌曲《Count On Me》中。尽管这张专辑没有取得商业上的成功，很多评论还是称赞哈维尔有着自己独特的风格和心态去做他自己的音乐。

With the release of his self-titled debut in 2003, newcomer Javier proved himself a welcome addition to the canon of intriguing R&B singers. Indeed, not since Babyface has there been an artist who could write and sing beautifully crafted songs as well as throw down with an acoustic guitar and do it all with such pureness. "I like to be versatile with the styles of music I do but I try to keep it true to the genre while stretching it at the same time. A lot of record companies don't allow an artist to have that kind of creative freedom, so I consider myself one of the lucky
ones."

On Javier's latest opus, the stunning Left of Center, the Connecticut native brings even more talent to the table. Embracing perse musical palettes that include splashes of R&B, hip-hop, rock, pop balladry and straight-up soul, Left of Center is an engaging project that should even have naysayers praising Javier's name. "Besides me being left handed," he laughs, "the title Left of Center is just my way of saying to the listeners, 'This album has a slightly different feel than what you might find on some other traditional R&B albums.'"
