Rihanna一曲《Umbrella》不但把她捧成了大红大紫的小天后, 同时也捧红了超级创作人The-Dream, 大半年来The-Dream不但继续跟大牌如Celine Dion等人合作, 更再度捧红另一个R&B新人J. Holiday, 为他创作的《Bed》一曲霸占公告牌R&B榜数周之久.

　　作为制作人的The Dream同时也是一名R&B歌手。他的首张个人专辑《Love Hate》让人惊艳，并凭借这张专辑拿下黑人音乐大奖2008 BET Awards年度最佳艺人！此次发行的新专辑邀请了两位大牌助阵，和Mariah Carey合作的《My Love》势必成为情歌对唱经典；与嘻哈天王Kanye West合作的《Walkin On The Moon》更体现了The Dream的鬼马创作才华。

The-Dream released his ‘Love vs. Money’ album in 2009 to major fanfare from critics across the board. Although the album was not as commercially successful as its ‘Love Hate’ predecessor, it inspired the musical stylings of several artists in the field of Hip-Hop and R&B, such as Drake, Chris Brown, The Weeknd and Frank Ocean.
In fact, the demand for The-Dream’s sound was so great that he happily recreated it while writing music for other acts. Just listen to Ciara’s ‘Basic Instinct’ and Mariah Carey ‘Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel’ albums if you have any doubt.
Standout tracks: ‘Fancy’, ‘Put it Down’, ‘Walking on the Moon (ft. Kanye West)’, ‘Mr. Yeah’ and ‘Rockin’ That Shit’.
