An excellent record by this very good band out of Olympia/Portland. Back in the day, they were frequently lumped in with the "Riot Grrrl" scene, and though they shared some mild similarities with the likes of Bikini Kill, I think it is more apt to classify them as a Noise Rock band, whose period of activity merely coincided with the emergence of the "Riot Grrrl" movement. I always thought of them as sounding across between Babes in Toyland, especially where the vocals are concerned, with rhythms strongly influenced by later Black Flag. Ultimately, I think they were their own thing with a reasonably unique sound and they are definitely worth checking out.
