A rare box set from the mighty Led Zeppelin. Very hard to get on 6 LP vinyl. I bought this sealed set back in 1992 at a record show in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It has only been played a handful of times since. The vinyl sounds so much better than the CD version of this set. Jimmy Page oversaw the remastering of this one personally and it is definitely an awesome mix of the classic stuff. It is one of the nicest pressings of Led Zeppelin I have ripped. The vinyl is very clean and super quiet with great dynamics and depth. I think it really sucks that they never released a vinyl pressing of the Box Set 2 that contained the remaining songs left off this set. The only vinyl pressing of the bonus track from that set “Baby, Come On Home” is on the 2015 Coda Deluxe reissue.
