For a long time I was hoping that someone would upload a High-Res vinyl rip of this album on the internet. But no.
The only vinyl rip known to me was made by Pbthal and that was in the standard cd format.
So that left me with one more option: To buy a copy myself and rip it in High-Res myself. So that's what I did a couple of months ago.
I bought myself a copy without the shrinkwrap with stickers and also without the booklet for a rather good price.
You know what they ask for this album on the internet!
Is it worth it? I doubt it. The dynamic range on the regular cd is (almost) the same as on the vinyl.
The only plus would be the higher resolution of the vinyl. But I can only say: Judge for yourself.
By-the-way, in a not too distant future all Roger Water albums will be re-released on vinyl and newly mastered. But for now..
