Японский пианист Коки Накано (род. в 1988 году в Фукуоке, Япония) начал осваивать азы искусства игры на пианино с трёх лет. После окончания средней музыкальной школы в Токио он поступил на музыкальное отделение Токийского университета искусств. На музыкальном Олимпе он проявил, в первую очередь, свой композиторский талант, написав много произведений, как для различных коллективов, так и для сольных фортепианных выступлений, в т.ч. композиции для дуэта виолончели и фортепиано. В его музыке слышны мотивы минимализма, неоклассики, джаза. В настоящий момент он проживает в Париже, где и выпустил в 2016 году на лейбле No Format! свой дебютный альбом Lift, записанный в тандеме с гениальным виолончелистом Венсаном Сигалем.
Что до французского композитора и виолончелиста Венсана Сигаля (род. в 1967 году в в Реймсе, Франция), то он известен в музыкальных кругах как пропагандист мультикультурных ценностей, отличающийся изысканным вкусом и недюжинной интуицией на таланты. Он начал изучать музыку еще в начальной школе, позже продолжив образование сначала в Реймской консерватории, а затем в Национальной консерватории музыки и танца Лиона. Уже будучи студентом, Венсан стал лауреатом нескольких музыкальных премий. В 1986 году он получил стипендию на обучение в Банфской центральной школе изящных искусств в Канаде, по окончании которой возвратился во Францию, осмотрительно переехав культурную мекку – Париж. Именно тут Сигаль приступает к экспериментам в различных музыкальных направлениях: неоклассика, джаз, рок, этническая (в частности – африканская) музыка. Сотрудничал с такими звёздами, как Стинг, Сезария Эвора, Элвис Костелло, Кезиа Джонс, Сушила Раман, Нана Васконселос, Баллаке Сиссоко, Ана Карла Маза и др.

He has written works for various ensembles including a vast amount of solo piano compositions and numerous pieces for cello and piano, he has been involved as a musical director for fashion shows and concerts, and as a band leader for his band ‘Gas Law’ he has been composing and performing throughout Japan. Next to this he has also been involved in production work for Tokyo FM.Furthermore he has performed solo recitals at the ‘Maison de la culture du Japon’ and the Louvre in Paris, and at the Stefánia Palace in Budapest. Vincent Ségal is a French cellist and bassist born in 1967 in the French city of Reims. He is a conservatory musician from the National Music Academy of Lyon who also studied at Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada. He is mainly known for the variety of his collaborations and out of the ordinary projects. He has worked with the likes of Steve Nieve, Elvis Costello, Cesaria Evora, Blackalicious, Carlinhos Brown, the French reggae band Tryo, Franck Monnet, the experimental project Mujeres Encinta, Georges Moustaki or with Alexandre Desplat in the O.S.T. of Lust, Caution and other of his films.
In 1986 he met Cyril Atef and together formed the band Bumcello a downtempo electronica duo that obtain ample success in France as well as Victoires de la Musique award as Electronic artist of the year 2006. He has also collaborated in every Matthieu Chedid (-M-) album. In 2009 he collaborated with Sting's in his album If on a Winter's Night... for which they tour together.
