The band's name is taken from the classic fantasy saga "The Chronicles of Narnia" by Irish writer C.S. Lewis. In the Chronicles of Narnia, the Lion Aslan represents Jesus Christ.
The band decided to call it quits in May 2010. They played their last two shows, with returning member Martin Härenstam, on November 30 in Mexico and December 3 in Germany.
Reformed in January of 2014.
