Deinonychus or Deinonychos (pronounced English die-NON-ee-kus [di'nɔnɪkəs] or Greek day-NON-ü-khos [dɛɪ'nɔnykʰos]) is Greek for "terrible claw", and is a dinosaur related to Velociraptor.

Deinonychus were rumoured to be a Nazi band after the release of their "Warfare Machines" album, which deals heavily with themes of World War II. However, the band members have denounced such claims. ...
