Arsis is a musical term used to refer to the upbeat or unaccented part of a measure.

Not to be confused with the Christian rock band of the same name from Alaska.

Mike Parks was the vocalist of the band that became Arsis and has filled in on vocals when James Malone lost his voice several times throughout the band's career (all dates uncertain).
