Instruments:
The Baroque violin made by Amati is of old design, i.e. compared with modern violins,
it has a shorter neck, a smaller bass-bar (which means less tension in the sound-board)
and a "Stradivarius bridge" (the silhouette is different from a modern one). It is played
with a bow which is lighter and has less hair; the tension is slacker than in a modern
violin bow.
