Acyutananda Swami is an American sannyasi. (Monk), who left his homeland and travelled to India at the age of 16. He has been living in India
continuously for 10 years studying the spiritual culture and music of India. He is world renowned (or his mastery in singing Bengali vaisnava
folk songs and playing the mrdanga (clay drum, unique to Bengal).The recordings on this LP were made in Mayapura, India, and we ask you to
overlook any minor technical shortcomings beyond our control. This record has been produced in order to relieve the poverty and famine-stricken
areas of Bengal and Bangla Desn A portion of the proceeds from each and every one of these records is sent to our International Centres in Bengal
and abroad. At these centres thousands of people are fed each day from contributions from this record. Please give generously
