Year 2014 is the 30th anniversary of this classic Italo Disco album, initially released on independent Discomagic label. Yes, this work of author / producer Roberto Zanetti is simply the one of cornerstones of this substyle and Disco in general, and very few of 80s greatest hits compilations haven’t got songs like “Don’t Cry Tonight” or “Only You” among its tracks. And it’s enough to say that “Tonight” is one of the favorite LP’s of Pet Shop Boys themselves! But Mirumir’s reissue of “Tonight” is not a simple replica of LP from 1984: there’s full original album plus “Computerized Love” (from LP’s 1985 ZYX reissue) and three non-album hit singles (“Time”, “Love Is Death” and “Celebrate”) of the period. Our LP goes with inner sleeve with all songs’ lyrics and rare photos. Moreover, all music material is remastered by one of the leading Russia sound experts Evgeni Gapeev.
