刚刚在金球奖上让史泰龙获得最佳男配角奖的拳击电影《克里德》(Creed)目前已经在全球取得了1.2亿美元的累计票房，米高梅公司已经确定将会为这部“洛奇外传”打造续集。《克里德2》将继续由迈克尔·B·乔丹（Michael B. Jordan）和史泰龙（Sylvester Stallone）主演，其中可能会有一些闪回部分让男主角的父亲、洛奇的老对手阿波罗·克里德（Apollo Creed）出场。
奎迪出身上流社会，但非常能吃苦，并且具备与生俱来的拳击天赋，他一心想成为洛奇那样的拳王，却遭到家人的反对。于是，他找到了已经退出拳击界并且无意回归的洛奇来担任自己的教练。两个对拳击无比热爱的男人，有了一段非常感人的友谊。在《克里德2》中，男主角最终迈上了人生巅峰，但拥有了荣誉和金钱之后，这个角色将何去何从，依旧值得探讨。
