Hans Zimmer & VA - 黑雨 Black Rain (Limited Edition 2CD) La-La Land Records 2012年限量加長版
「黑雨」是大導演雷利史考特(Ridley Scott)在1989年所推出的精彩警匪動作片，也是雷利史考特與Hans Zimmer合作的早期作品之一。「黑雨」是他動作音樂的開山始祖，電影配樂生涯中的一個轉涙點，由於季默初到美國好萊塢不久，無名小卒總被欺負，當時本片製作人及幕後出錢的老闆卻不喜歡季默的編曲風格，執意要將他換掉，後來男主角麥可道格拉斯(Michael Douglas)出面力挺，還說「若不是漢斯的音符帶動，潤飾了我乾枯的演出，否則他的演出將慘不忍睹」，季默至今仍相當感謝道格拉斯當時獨排眾議的力挺。事實證明，道格拉斯是對的！老(舊)版「黑雨」原聲帶無論旋律編曲設計都非常出色，只收錄組曲四首，〈Black Rain Suite〉包括〈Sato〉、〈Charlie Loses His Head〉、〈Sugai〉與〈Nick and Masa〉，但這些起承轉合都是精華。新版加長版雖然都有收錄老(舊)版四首，但聽覺感受會不一樣，日本音樂家阪本龍一創作的〈Laserman〉獨特東洋風情深具魅力。歌曲部分也很精彩，輕快曲風加上狂逸電吉他與沉重的鼓擊節拍....，歌曲與配樂之間並沒有突兀的衝突，整張專輯非常出色。老(舊)版「黑雨」原聲帶當初看完電影買的是卡帶，從此開始認識Hans Zimmer。DISC 2 〈SATO〉是片中大反派佐藤的主題音樂，充滿濃濃的東洋韻味以及江湖殺氣，相當獨特，原來許多連續劇常出現的音樂竟然是源自於此，廣受不少連續劇配樂製作人的青睞。
