Fearless leader, Phil the Drill, wrote and recorded a bunch of seriously catchy tunes with clever tongue-way-in-cheek lyrics, an aggressively fun delivery and a virtuosic jedi-style guitar playing in the den of his apartment simply because he likes to «scream brains out». Also known as Phil X, spiky-haired lead guitarist/co-writer for LA theatrical ROCK phenomenon POWDER, his instrumental prowess has been featured on recordings by DAUGHTRY, Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper, Tommy Lee, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, BT and Andrew W.K. to name a few… or eight. Phil has also performed with various artists on The Tonight Show, Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel Live, AOL Sessions and Top of the Pops, Germany.
Dan Drill who adds his bass magic and vocal harmonies to THE DRILLS is one of the funniest f(u)cking guys you could meet and drives a cool red truck (he told us to say that).
