“这些专辑有太多趣闻轶事有待我们的听众去挖掘。”Apple Music 全球音乐节目主管 Scott Plagenhoef 表示，“比如今天公布的两张专辑推广时都没有使用艺人的形象，但原因截然相反：Burial 的《Untrue》是因为艺人当时还没有对外公布自己的身份，而 George Michael 的《Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1》则是因为艺人已经开始有意退出名利场。”

最后十张专辑将于 5 月 22 日（星期三）揭晓。

所有百大专辑入选艺人都将得到一尊奖杯，奖杯使用喷砂阳极氧化铝制成，材料全部来自回收的 Apple 产品，并镀以表面抛光的黄金。奖杯背面的设计灵感来自黑胶唱片，刻有艺人姓名、专辑名称及发行年份。
