本專輯是配樂大師漢斯季默的精選集，2CD組成，由布拉格愛樂樂團與倫敦音樂工作室共同演繹。這張專輯採用了時間倒敘的方式，CD1中是比較新的21世紀的作品。同時加值附贈一個包含10首不同曲目的Bonus包。
Hans Zimmer是近年來崛起速度十分驚人的電影配樂家，在電子合成器和​​傳統器樂的結合上，每每展現令人震撼的個人風格，也屢次締造令人激賞的配樂成績，特別是在動作電影配樂方面，他獨特的音樂形式已經蔚為風尚，揉合了電子樂的炫麗緊湊，和交響樂的磅礴氣魄，幾乎是近年來，典型好萊塢英雄主義動作電影不可或缺的“標準配備”。
近年來開始培養許多電影配樂新輩，如Harry Gregson-Williams、John Powell、Klaus Badelt、 Steve Jablonsky等人皆是出於此門下。這些作曲家也都在Hans Zimmer與Jay Rifkin共同創建的Remote Control Productions公司（原名Media Ventures）工作。
