I own probably over 500 jazz CDs. This one is among my favorites. This is an historical, classic album recorded in April, 1975 with Jim Hall,Chet Baker (at his best) and Paul Desmond. Every cut is near perfection! But it features a fresh, exciting arrangement of one of my favorite classical guitar pieces, Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez (after which the album is titled). This is a magnificent, priceless album. You don't have to be a jazz enthusiast to appreciate this album. Every time I play this amazing album it's like going home again. Turn down the lights, pour yourself some Grand Marnier, and let this album seduce you.
