专辑介绍：

1967年，正值全盛时期的影后茱丽安德鲁丝主演了一部歌舞片「蜜莉姑娘」（Thoroughly Modern Millie），描述一位20年代的乡下女郎来到了大都会纽约，改换了摩登的造型，一心想要钓个金龟婿，没想到却住进了一家黑店，那裡连续发生多起妙龄女房客神秘失踪的桉件。阴错阳差中，她拯救了刚认识的女友，虽然失去了英俊多金的老闆，却惊喜的发现自己以为他是穷小子的男友，竟然是个富家公子。三十五年之后，「蜜莉姑娘」的故事被搬上了百老汇音乐剧的舞台，由珍妮狄苏瑞（Jeannie Tesori）作曲、迪克史坎兰（Dick Scanlan）填词，成为「摩登蜜莉」。

2000年十月，「摩登蜜莉」展开试演，获得了各界一致的好评，但是由于演员的异动，以及他们为了求好心切而不断的继续修改、补强，同时又找不到合适的剧院与档期，这齣戏在百老汇正式推出的日期也一延再延。到了2002年初，终于尘埃落定，敲定了于四月十八日进行首演，而当时他们已经获得了「外围剧评人协会」的多项提名。正式推出后，更是佳评如潮。毫不意外的，在2002年的第五十六届东尼奖，「摩登蜜莉」以十一项提名领先群伦，成为该届呼声最高的音乐剧作品，最后果然一举拿下「最佳音乐剧」、「最佳女主角」、「最佳女配角」、「最佳编曲」、「最佳服装设计」与「最佳编舞」等六项大奖，成了最风光的大赢家。好听、好看、在轻鬆幽默之中，又充满了悬疑，「摩登蜜莉」肯定会在百老汇的历史上留下辉煌灿烂的一页，成为二十一世纪令人最喜爱、也最难忘的音乐剧经典。
