The Previn--like his Korngold film music recordings--is lush and ultimately disappointing. The Welser-Most is good, but Downes (who was filling in for Bamert) turns in what I think of as the standard recommendation, a lovely recording that doesn't miss the dark corners of the work. But the new Albrecht is very impressive and demands to be heard by all fans of this neglected symphony. This is no mere run-through; it is a carefully thought-out PERFORMANCE, filled with interesting ideas. The Strasbourg orchestra, of course, is not the Vienna Philharmonic, but have no fear, they sound just great. An excellent recording in every way; Korngold fans should not hesitate. 曲目列表：
