The legendary "Rumble". Banned from some radio markets because it was "suggestive" (quite a feat for an instrumental).
I guess there was fear of knife fights breaking out after hearing these 4 menacing power chords. In addition to being
one of the first songs to feature power chords, also one of the first (maybe the first) to feature a distorted guitar
tone. Influenced many including The Kinks, Pete Townshend, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, John Fogerty, The Cramps, etc.
I've compared this Rumble with a few CD versions, and this is much better than most of them, with the possible exception
of "They're Outta Here Says Archie" on Rollercoaster. All the other comps including the popular Rhino and the second
Pulp Fiction release, sound badly EQd in comparison.
