About
Falta Amor is the Mexican pop/rock band's least noteworthy album by far -- musically, at least -- but it still has its moments and, most importantly, it established them as a promising act during the early '90s, with an exceptionally straightforward pop/rock sound for a Mexican band. In particular, "Rayando el Sol" is a highlight and established a template for the sort of emotional pop/rock hits that the band would rack up in the years to come. Unless you're a completist, you probably won't need to bother with Falta Amor. Its high points are well represented on the plethora of Mana compilations out there, the best of which are the Esencials volumes released in 2003.

About
Mana was formed in 1986 by Jose Fernando "Fher" Olvera (vocals), Ulises (guitars) and Juan Calleros (bass guitar), who had been performing together in a band called Sombrero Verde since the mid-1970s and disbanded in 1983. The three placed an advertisement in the local Guadalajara newspaper looking for a drummer to complete a new band, to which fifteen-year-old Alex Gonzalez applied and soon joined the group. Mana signed to PolyGram, but became unhappy with the direction the label was taking the band and switched to Warner Music shortly before the release of the group's debut album, Falta Amor. A year passed before the album garnered its first hit single, "Rayando el Sol". The group toured heavily in support of the album performing more than 250 times throughout Latin America, including shows in Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia.
?Donde Jugaran los Ninos? (English: Where Will the Children Play?) is the second studio album (fifth overall) released by Latin American Mexican rock band Mana released in 1992. This album contained many of the hits that catapulted them to international fame and established them as one of the leading Latin rock acts of the 90's, including "Oye Mi Amor", "?Donde Jugaran los Ninos?", "Vivir Sin Aire", "Te Llore Un Rio", "Como te deseo" and "De pies a cabeza". The album has reached #4 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums Chart. Ulises Calleros (the band's former electric guitarist) was replaced by Cesar "Vampiro" Lopez. The band re-released this album with bonus remixes on February 15, 1994. Singer Mijares covered "Vivir sin Aire" in his 2009 Spanish album Vivir Asi. "Oye Mi Amor" is one of the international songs included in the rhythm video game Rock Band 3.
