Recorded in AIFF with Vinyl Studio v. 7.5.8 at a sampling rate of 24 bits and a frequency of 96 kHz.
Tracks cut, filtered, normalized, and subjected (in some cases) to up to two separate phases of click repair.
Auditioned after each phase. Manual click repairs and patches applied where automated click repair failed.
If you detect any abnormalities in this rip that you think I may have caused, missed, or be able to fix, don't be afraid to let me know.
The software I'm using saves all changes separately from the original recording, making it easy to edit.
Note On This Rip
After I first ripped this album, I played around quite extensively with the graphic EQ for each track--in an attempt to get that "truly great sound."
However, after revisiting the rip, and giving it much deliberation, I decided that because the album was, in fact, a remastered re-issue, I would simply present the sound as it was intended, and as I recorded it.
It's truly a very dynamic album, with a lot of depth, and every time I attempted to improve either it as a whole, or the tracks individually, something was lost in the process.
Of course, I've removed all hiss, hum, rumble, clicks, and background noise to the best of my abilities, but for better or worse, I've left the EQ alone.
