Ayọ is the fifth studio album by Nigerian-German singer–songwriter Ayọ. The 14 track album was released on 6 October 2017 on CD, vinyl and as a MP3 download.
The first single from the album, "I'm a Fool", was released in June 2017.[1] The second single "Paname" (a nickname for Paris and it's suburbs[2]) was released in September 2017. The song was named after the gypsy name for Paris.[3] For both singles a music video was published.
The album was written over the last three to four years during a time of great personal and career changes.[4] The songs were recorded in Brooklyn, New York in the singers apartment on her laptop or even on her phone https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayọ
