Sueye Park proved to the public in 2017 that her masterpieces are not just Paganini’s 24 Solo Violin Capriccios. In the album, the pianist love derwinger, who was born next to the South Korean violinist in 2000, has also recorded many classic records. The repertoire is also more colorful, including some popular violin works, such as ELGA’s “salut D’amour” and Tchaikovsky’s “m é Lodie”, as well as more artistic pieces, such as the famous work “Tarantella” by viniavsky.
The album also includes two solo works: Ernst’s favorite “the last rose of summer” and “paganina” from the previous disc, Nathan Millstein’s homage to Paganini’s theme Fantasia. With the same poetic sensitivity and effortless skill, it will be a solo: from Pablo de sarasatti’s “Prelude and Tarantella” to Brahms’ “my thoughts are like music” adapted to the song “meditation”. From the beginning to the end, every song is worth listening to.
