Lover Under Cover are a brand new band from Sweden that combine elements of Coldspell, Last Autumns Dream, Treat and many more great Scandinavian Rock bands. The band was formed by Mikael Carlsson and this highly talented quartet are poised to shake the very foundations of melodic hard rock. Soaring harmonies, slick guitar solos and plenty of keyboards feature in their sound and with a knack of producing infectious melodies they will have you begging for more.
With Special guests that include Michael Larsson (Coldspell) Ged Rylands and Tor Erik Myhre (Jorn) and production from Martin Kronlund you can be sure of a very polished performance all round. Songs like “Angels will cry”, “Hero” and “Set the night on fire” are all fantastic slabs of melodic hard rock, in fact there are no fillers to be found, just well structured melodic hard rock. Lover Under Cover are a band to look out for in 2012 and if well-crafted melodic rock of the highest order is what you crave for then this is an essential purchase.
The first embryo of LUC goes back in time as far as 1982 when Mr E and Mr C was members in the southern rock act "Rain" togeather with one of Swedens most famous ZZ-Top lookalikes Bengt Lundh. Setteled in the beautiful arcipelago outside Kungsbacka in the west of Sweden we all remember those crazy nights with Rock n roll ( and a couple of beers ) during endless Swedish summernights.
After that Mr E and Mr C were separated for a couple of years. Mr E working with his amazing and successful solo career and Mr C turned out to be semi professional musician and doing a lots of cover gigs at the pubs in the west of Sweden. They bumped into each other a couple of times during the years and allways said that "we should realy do something togeather"
Mr E started up Last Autumns Dream wich not need any further presentation i guess, and Mr C started up the first version of Lover Under Cover around 1989 with Daniel Boscovic as a lead singer. Mr C and Mr B recorded about 30 songs during 4-5 years before they decided to go separate ways, and now....
almost 30 years later then finaly Mr C and Mr E got the time and oportunity to take of in the project they always wanted to do. A new colorful, harder than ever version of Lover Under Cover.
And the Saga continues........

I tell you people... This is the guy that every band in the world wished that they had. Amazing Guitarplayer and a producer to die for. He is the guy behind the awesome sound of Lover Under Cover. He is also the mastermind of the sound on the 2 latest PHENOMENA albums, Gypsy Rose, Dogface And ...... The list goes on forever .... Respect is the word !!

Fantastic hardhittin´drummer from the land of ice and snow. This is the only guy that we wanted for the album and we are so happy that he wanted to join us. Because he creates magic with the pulse in the band You might recognice him as the drummer of the mighty COLDSPELL. A badass drummer indeed !!!

This magnificent Norse axeman are truly a rock star, best known for his work with JORN. We were blown away by this guy when we first saw him onstage during JORN,s Spirit Black tour.Check out the DVD "live in black" and you will understand what we mean. We are so proud to have him onboard as a very special guest. The rumour says that Tor Erik decided to leave JORN when he heard the first demo of "HERO".

If you mention the name Ged Rylands then all lovers of melodic rock will know him as a member of the legendary band "Ten" With his amazing skills on the keyboard we are truly blessed to have this guy onboard. Ged is also working on his first solo album that will hit the stores in Mars 2013. That album will be a monster !!!

We needed a realy powerful voice for the female role in the song "Hero". And in Katarina Häger we found our very own "Sister Mary". Her voice is so full of attitude and she fits in perfectly in the story about the rebel teen daughter. Remember her name people. You will hear more from this tallented woman !!!
