The band was effectively split in half following Fireworks, with vocalist Andre Matos departing with the rhythm section of Luís Mariutti and Ricardo Confessori to form Shaman.

Angra were put on hold due to management issues in 2007 (inaccurate rumours also circulated that they had split-up altogether) before regrouping in early 2009 with former drummer Ricardo Confessori replacing Aquiles ...
