The first steady line-up was Ciaran O'Hagan (vocals), Dermot O'Hagan (guitars), Den Ferran (drums) and Jason Barriskill (bass).


Gaz Murdock left Waylander in 2008 and was very, very briefly replaced by Ade Mulgrew but returned later in the year. In early 2009 he left again to join Alestorm without informing the other band members despite Waylander's pressing live engagements. Original guitarist Dermot O'Hagan stepped in at short notice for these gigs.
