As for the album itself, Manowar are a pompous heavy metal band, a real life Spinal Tap in a way. Over the top & ridiculous; but enjoyable if you are a metal fan. This is a 2002 recording; right in the middle of the LOUDNESS wars; but this record is not effected by that, it is DR12!!! Surprisingly good sound.

Warriors of the World is the 9th album by heavy metal band Manowar, released on June 4, 2002. The song Nessun Dorma was dedicated to Adams’ mother who had died earlier that year. Amongst its varied tracks are tributes to Wagner, Pavarotti & Elvis Presley. The album peaked at #2 on the German charts.
The song Warriors of the World United had a music video filmed in 2002.
