Об исполнителе (группе)
The Nuremberg trio A Tale Of Golden Keys naturally places a dove on the cover of their second LP "Shrimp". This humor probably does not open up to every observer right away. The musical direction is different: the ten pop-songs of the album, which are often driven by the piano, nestle comfortably and move quite a bit into louder guitar performances with cheerfully drumming drums. The band acts best when it crashes properly, as in "Will I Be The Last". You feel transported back to the Emo's wedding - Death Cab For Cutie, The Weakerthans or Jimmy Eat World may have been the godfather.
An obvious flaw, however, is the often similar song structure: After a somewhat sluggish beginning, the pieces tend to increase towards the end in intensity and volume. The monotonous, somewhat too superficial singing reinforces this impression. Even after several passes, the recognition value of individual pieces is kept within limits. That's a pity, because you can hardly blame the boys for lack of potential, but the lack of courage for a little more variability. https://www.ataleofgoldenkeys.com
