简 介

《滚石》（英文：Rolling Stone）是以流行与音乐为主题的美国杂志。成立于1967年的旧金山，创办人是Jann Wenner（现仍是编辑与出版者）与乐评Ralph J. Gleason。

一开始，专辑定位在报道与推广嬉皮文化，但滚石杂志本身不愿被视作当时的地下杂志，因此报道的求实标准十分严格，并且避免明显的政治色彩。滚石在1970年代早期曾经一度政治色彩较为浓厚，不过这是受当时流行的荒诞新闻学所影响。

滚石杂志到了1970年代中期已经建立了不小的影响力，当时西维雅的母亲/虎克医生合唱团还为杂志作了首"Cover of the Rolling Stone"的畅销单曲。

1980年代，滚石杂志仍然留住1960年代的传奇评论家与70年代的莱斯特·班恩斯，不过却与现实妥协，开始认同一些过去所不屑的理念，如药物检验。由于各方新杂志，如《Maxim》与《FHM》如雨后春笋般地出现，滚石为了挽回日趋下滑的销售量，开始出现富有性暗示的内容，现在整体来说则是既有电影、电视，也有流行音乐。
