(12:34)Об альбоме: "The Rutted Road" - третий альбом французской неофолковой группы Pale Roses, вышедший после "Fear Of Dawn" (The Eastern Front, 2010) и "Unveiled" (Rage in Eden, 2011). В целом, музыка осталась прежней: пасторальные гитарные арпеджио, медодические басовые линии, немножко фортепиано, но чуть больше перкуссии и звуковых эффектов, чем на первых двух альбомах. Тексты песен посвящены некоторым историческим местам (Бедлам и Тайберн), некоторым нашим любимым авторам ("The Infidel" вдохновлена "Словарём Сатаны" Амброза Бирса, "From The Ancient Woodland" - Робертом Холдстоком, а "Sea Horses" - Уильямом Хоупом Ходжсоном, а трек "Ancient Mariner" хотя и вдохновлён С.Т. Кольриджем, но это не кавер на Iron Maiden), а также языческим верованиям и разным элементам фольклора.
