Об исполнителе (группе)
Dingobats is very much part of the new wave of jazz that has come out of Norway the past decade. Its founder and main composer, Erik Hegdal, is an important figure in Norwegian jazz and has performed with Pat Metheny and Chic Corea, doing big band arrangements of their music at Molde International Jazzfestival in 2002 and 2003.
The other band members are: Njål Ølnes, Thomas Dahl, Mats Eilertsen and Sverre Gjørvad. Dingobats third album "Follow" is now out on Jazzaway Records and the music is fresh and exciting.
