"Tunes for my Santiméa" звучит голосами Тило Вольффа и приглашенных вокалисток - Kerstin Doelle (уже принимавшей участие в записи Canta`Tronic) и новой певицы Carina Boehmer!
10 новых композиций бескомпромиссного электро, смешанного с классическими аранжировками, легким pop-оттенком и невероятным объемом ярости и эмоций! Несмотря на то, что эта пластинка ближе к стилю LACRIMOSA, чем две предыдущие, в ней очень ощутимо влияние industrial, и третий альбом, таким образом, сохраняет верность уникальному стилю всего сайд-проекта. С тремя вокалистами звучание стало разнообразнее, чем когда-либо прежде!
В настоящее время Тило работает над последними штрихами к высококачественному видео-клипу, произведенному в Лос-Анджелесе совместно с членами команды Стивена Содерберга (режиссер таких фильмов, как "Супер Майк", "11 друзей Оушена"...)

1990 TILO WOLFF established the band LACRIMOSA, nowadays one of the most successful and respected acts of the alternativ music-scene worldwide! 2004 he established SNAKESIN? But why?
On his website he writes: “The center and the main idea of LACRIMOSA is, that every composition is based on a poetry. This concept was exactly the right thing at that time and still is the right thing to this day! And so that nothing will change this in future, I had to create a new frame for compositions which aren’t the result of the inspiration matured from the word but tell a story on their own. So SNAKESKIN was born. The second skin. This second skin represents another surface now, just like SNAKESKIN’s musical surface – the arrangement and production – is different from LACRIMOSA’s. But underneath this skin, there is the same heart beating.”
And really, on the second SNAKESKIN album with the interesting and conceptional title “Canta’Tronic”, a relationship with LACRIMOSA can’t be denied and still, it sounds so different, that it would hardly match the album history of LACRIMOSA.
In the center there is the concept which the title already names: sung electronic. Already on the debut the occasionally strongly alienated voice which reminded of the cries of wild animals stood in the foreground. Here, Wolff still goes a step further: with his this time nearly un-alienated and emotional voice he draws partly very touching and partly surprisingly catchy melodies over the mainly rhythmical compositions which creats a immense tension. But not enaugh, because this tension finds her perfection in the connection of hard electric beats with the unpronounceably versatile voice of KERSTIN DOELLE, the great opera singer, which already convinced the audience with enthusiasm as the representative of Germany at the concerts on the occasion of the EU expansion back in 2004! Here worlds collide and a new music arises: Canta’Tronic!

About the history of the Cantadoras and Cantadoros
If one would ask a Cantadoro when everything actually started, one would get the answer: “Sometime in front of an eternity… but Orpheus was one of us and Miriam from the Bible. Oh yes, Saint Franziskus also, didn’t he compose this wonderful Canticum Solis?” Fado-singers and Druids also belong to them. But who is a Cantadoro? So much is certain, it isn’t learnable if this certain fire doesn’t burn in the voice, in the soul! The Spanish express it as follows: a Cantadoro is somebody who is holding his own torn and bleeding heart in his hands, singing about this pain to keep him and this pain alive. He is singing for love and at the same time embodies it himself. A deep spirituality and the believe in the determination to sing are strong parts of him. A Cantadoro stands for the power and high intuition. The “Canto el hondo” – “the chant of the wolf” is the symbol for it.
After the tracks “Melissa” and “I am the dark” let tremble the dancefloors since June this year and press as well as audience has been brought to the riddle around its doer, the longplayer “Music for the lost” will come out on the 25th of October 2004!
And that’s meant like the title promises: this album is in each an every relation unorthodox and uncomfortable and nothing for a wide mass with soft rinsed ears! Neither one can attach this mood, these musical turns and this arrangement to a known genre, nor such a production , that culminates in that multiple electronically and analogy alienated voice was ever heard before! And the latter is of great importance, yet, in contrary to well-worn and usual sound, in which the leadvocals take in a narrative roll, the voice in SNAKESKIN takes part of musical mesh and is to be understood as an organic and emotional instrument, similarly to the screams, that a threatening, a fighting or a dying animal is yelling out to the world.
artwork06Further “Music for the lost” is featuring a emormous potential of creative versatility. So the musical range stretches from the ultra hard “Symphony of pain” over the groovy “Cinderella” to the threatening “Furious stars” and the melancholy “Come as you are”, crowned by film-music mature “Longgonelost”! Real fireworks of profound emotions, inexorable aggression and furious enjoyed playing are fired off on “Music for the lost”! And all in a skilled masterly production, whose recordings occurred in the Swiss “Studio au Parc” in the beginning of this year.
Yet also the artwork in the noble Digipak knows to enthuse how it underlines in a true sense of style the love for each detail and visualise excellent the entire, that the project SNAKESKIN drifts!
Equipped by three Bonustracks, (“Melissa” remixed by KiEw, “I am the dark” remixed by Combichrist and the until now unpublished Clubmix from “Cinderella”) “Music for the lost” stands out of many releases, that often today are thrown unkindly on the market. So one senses, hears and sees an immense care all around this album, and yet conceals behind in such a way unusually dark and self-willed unpopular music that follows faithfully to that symbol, that again curves to this almost animal voice of SNAKESKIN: If you want to reach the source, you must swim against the stream!
And this motto follows already another band since many years, that is well known for another music style, but has one thing in common with SNAKESKIN: its composer, arranger, singer and producer Tilo Wolff!

SnakeSkin — (рус. Змеиная кожа) музыкальный проект в жанре EBM, созданный в 2004 году основателем группы Lacrimosa Тило Вольффом.
В июне 2004 года в Швейцарии на летних фестивалях готической музыки начали распространяться синглы неизвестного тогда исполнителя SnakeSkin. Хотя синглы произвели настоящий фурор, о самом исполнителе никто ничего не знал .
Осенью того же года вышел первый альбом — Music for the Lost. Некоторые, внимательно разглядев обложку, нашли на ней эмблему Hall of Sermon — лейбла, который был известен своей работой с группой Lacrimosa. Далее, официальный сайт SnakeSkin поддерживается тем же хостером, что и сайты Hall Of Sermon и Lacrimosa.
2 октября того же года Public Propaganda объявила, что у некой рок-группы есть кое-что общее со SnakeSkin: композитор, аранжировщик, вокалист и продюсер Тило Вольфф. И 7 октября Тило Вольфф подтвердил, что SnakeSkin — его сольный проект. Сделать свой голос похожим на женский Тило смог благодаря компьютерной обработке.
13-го октября 2006 года вышел второй альбом проекта Canta’tronic, в записи вокальных партий которого принимала участие оперная певица Керстин Дёлле.
Третий студийный альбом проекта был анонсирован на официальной странице группы Lacrimosa в Facebook. Его выход назначен на 23 сентября 2016 год.
