威廉·奥维尔“左撇子”弗里泽尔（1928 年 3 月 31 日 - 1975 年 7 月 19 日）是美国乡村音乐创作型歌手和honky-tonk歌手。[1] Frizzell 被广泛认为是有史以来最伟大的乡村歌手之一，影响了George Jones、Willie Nelson、Roy Orbison、The Everly Brothers、Keith Whitley、Merle Haggard、Randy Travis和John Fogerty。

作为为随后几代人树立“乡村方式”演唱风格的歌手，弗里泽尔成为了他职业生涯中最成功和最有影响力的乡村音乐艺术家之一。他通过更长的音节发声和更长的演唱时间来抚平一首响亮的唐克歌曲的粗糙边缘。正因为如此，他的音乐变得更加主流，同时又不失其时髦的态度和个性。他于 1982年入选乡村音乐名人堂。1953 年汉克·威廉姆斯去世后，弗里泽尔发行了许多歌曲，这些歌曲进入了热门乡村歌曲排行榜的前 10 名。他的成功并没有持续到 1960 年代，在成为酒鬼后，他在 47 岁时去世。
