Just a quick write up needed for this one. This is the next best thing to watching Ennio Morricone’s own concerts and this orchestra also tackles the ones that were not often played in live concerts in the later years. This means we get to hear more pieces from A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and The Man with the Harmonica theme from Once Upon a Time in the West.
There are also non Morricone pieces played such as The Godfather, Taxi Driver and Sonny Bono’s Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down).
A concert like this can be enjoyed by either watching, having on as background music but I always think something like this is best served with full attention.
Highly recommended for all you movie lovers out there who are interested in The Morricone music compositions
