专辑说明:
韩德尔的假面剧《艾西斯与加拉提亚》首演于1718年，正好在他另一部意大利清唱剧《艾西，加拉蒂亚与波里菲莫》的十年之后，故事情节是：变形的奥维德，叙说着加拉蒂亚女神的故事，她的爱人艾西被独眼巨人波吕斐摩斯。加拉蒂亚央求她的父亲尼洛把艾西的血变化成河流，如此她便能够在水中与他长相左右。本片收录的是2009年在伦敦皇家柯芬园剧院上演的《艾西斯与加拉提亚》迪·尼斯、沃克曼、艾格纽/汉弥尔顿、罗斯、朴智敏…等歌唱家，与指挥霍格伍德带领的启蒙时代管弦乐团，皇家芭蕾舞团共同演出。
