Album Review
Foo Fighters' eighth album, Sonic Highways, features eight songs that were recorded across the U.S. in eight different cities, as the band traveled to some of the most iconic studios in the country to make this record. Joan Jett, Rami Jaffee, and Rick Nielsen are among the many guest performers on this release, and Butch Vig is once again at the helm after producing 2011's Wasting Light. The creation of the album is detailed on an HBO series that followed Dave Grohl and the band across the country as they put the songs together.
