简介：
So far this is one of the best jazz sacd's sonically I've heard. On "Feathers", the alto is recorded beautifully, right there! This recording is a prime example of what sacd is capable of given a first rate analog recording to begin with. Recording studio ambience is present, soundstage cleary discernible, timbre of instruments intact. Great muscians, great recording, interesting compositions; if you like modern jazz this is well worth investigating. This disc supports my theory that the best jazz sacds are derived from well recorded analog sources.
