Shinin On is a hard Rocking Album and its nice to see it get this high grade Hybrid SACD - DSD treatment. Its one of Rock N rolls all time great albums from cover to cover. Shinin On, Carry Me Through, Getting Over You, Please me t get back in and Getting over you are the highlights on this one. I did not mention Loco-Motion because its a ,iced bag for GFR. while it was a number one hit, it hurt their hard rock credibility with there base. i have always liked it though. GFR was normally fronted by Mark Farner as Lead Guitar and Lead Singer but on this one Don Brewer Drummer and vocals stepped forward to sing the best songs on this one.
