Produced by Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason and released in 1981, this project is a potent fusion of jazz and rock composed entirely by the post-bop great Carla Bley. Featuring the enigmatic vocals of Robert Wyatt and the searing guitars of Chris Spedding, this cross-genre soup enabled Mason to produce and play drums with an accomplished group of musicians while not straying entirely away from the sound he helped mold with Pink Floyd.
